Little Berks 2023 Registration
Register for the Little Berks 2023 at the Hyatt Lodge Oak Brook-Chicago from October 13 to 15, 2023. 

Cost: $240 covers breakfasts and dinners from Friday evening to Sunday morning (2 breakfasts and 2 dinners), snacks at the cocktail hour on Saturday evening and all programming. Housing is NOT included in this registration cost. You will be sent an invoice for the cost in mid-September.

You are responsible for booking your own accommodations. Our group rate at the Hyatt Lodge is $184/night. You must book your own room through the hotel by going to https://www.hyatt.com/en-US/group-booking/CHILO/G-10B1. Rooms must be booked by September 22nd to use the group rate. 

While we can assist with finding a roommate, we cannot organize or book rooms for attendees. All Attendees will have reserve their own rooms and those requesting subventions will be contacted by September 25th with the amount we are able to provide in subvention funding. We unfortunately cannot provide subvention funds for travel at this time.

Subventions are available to graduate students, contingent faculty, and independent scholars. Tenured and tenure-track faculty without institutional support may request a subvention but their requests will only be considered if funds are available after funding less resourced members. 
Subvention request details
Please describe in detail what you will need financial support for (hotel room, registration), and if you need full or partial support. Indicate your position (graduate student, independent scholar, contingent faculty, tenure-track or tenured faculty) and if you have the opportunity to obtain any funding from your institution. We have limited subvention funding and will grant subventions for graduate students and contingent faculty first, then independent scholars, tenure-track faculty and then tenured faculty. 
We do ask that everyone request funds from their institution (if applicable) before requesting a subvention from the Berks.
If you are able to donate towards the subvention fund, please indicate the amount you wish to donate below and we will add it to your invoice.
